Adrienne Bailon launches Fingertip Fetish collection

adrienne bailon Former 3LW group member and Cheetah Girl Adrienne Bailon recently launched her Fingertip Fetish “Made in NYC” nail polish collection in New York.

Fingertip Fetish is inspired by Adrienne’s New York roots which is creatively shown through the nail polish colours. Whether it’s “Trendy Soho” pink, “Lady Liberty” blue or “Hail a Cab” yellow, no matter what the colour is, you will definitely see her NY roots throughout. Fingertip Fetish is the perfect addition to the “Made in NYC” collection.

The line of nail polish is 100% vegan, which means it is free from harmful or toxic chemicals and it is not tested on animals.

The launch event brought out bloggers, artists, reality stars and even publicist and Kim K’s pal Jonathon Cheban.

The collection can be purchased online on the Fingertip Fetish website individually or you can purchase the “The 5 Borough Package” or the entire collection.

Adrienne looks amazing and I’m loving the nail polish colour she’s wearing (Lady Liberty). As of now, there are only ten colours available. Although I like the idea of the New York inspired collection, the only colour I’d actually wear is Lady Liberty. Hopefully more colours will be added to the line soon, I look forward to seeing the names of them. Also, I love the “ABOUT” section on the website, I just wish the site was a bit more fun and interesting … it’s just black and kind of dull.

polish“When thinking of my city – my mind is brimming with colors: A rich Yankee blue, a bright taxicab yellow, or even the soft seafoam green of Lady Liberty…  In my collection, we capture the eclectic and ever-beautiful lifestyle that is New York and transform it into unique paints made right here in the city that inspired them. Made in New York, inspired by New York, this line was created for those who are proud to live as artists from fingertip to fingertip.  With individuality, style, and the inspiration of the city I love, Fingertip Fetish’s Made in NYC collection is born” – Adrienne Bailon.

Always on the hunt

Always on the hunt

If you’re anything like me, you’re constantly browsing Pinterest, Instagram and fashion-related blogs/websites to find cute outfits, accessories or other items.

I find it quite depressing, however, as there is almost never a link, brand name or source stating where the amazing bag, top or skirt is from. Well thanks to The Hunt, tracking down the items you find is a bit easier.

By uploading the article of clothing, outfit or accessory, The Hunt community can help you track down where the exact item is from or where you can purchase a similar item. Know where something posted is from? You can paste the link to the store’s website. You can also search for specific items using the search bar.

The Hunt does not only feature clothing and accessories – you can find bedding, furniture, electronics, you name it.

I find this site to be quite helpful as I’ve already seen a few pictures of outfits I’ve loved with links showing similar items and where they can be purchased.

Fashion Friday: Rihanna

Ignoring the inappropriate tee that I wouldn’t be caught dead in, I love this look.

I think I would’ve worn a different material maxi but I’m all for the comfy look. I have my days where I feel like dressing super girly but most of the time, I like to dress down. I don’t just throw on anything but outfits such as Rihanna’s are what I like to throw on.

I bought a top similar to this (without a photo on it) from Top Shop and returned it because I had nothing to wear with it at the time. I have a problem with buying things and keeping it until I buy the right item to wear with it and end up hating it later on. By then, it’s too late to return the items so they end up hanging in my closet until I donate them. Top Shop has so many of these tops (full length and crop) – I think I’ll go back and pick one or two up. The warm weather is here and it’s perfect to throw on to run some errands.

What do you think of Rihanna’s outfit?

CURRENT OBSESSION: fitted track pants

CURRENT OBSESSION: fitted track pants

I am currently obsessed with fitted track pants! I have about four pairs (black and grey) and I am desperately searching for more.

The fit is amazing and they’re so comfortable. You can even dress them up a bit. Pair them with a leather jacket, loose top and wedges/heels for a chic night out look. I can’t wait until warmer weather when I can wear mine with a loose fitted tee or tank top for a comfy look. I’m on the hunt for a pair of grey fitted track pants with leather pockets – saw a pair online and I fell in love.

Where to buy: I’ve seen them just about everywhere but I got my four from H&M, J. Crew, Roots and Forever 21.

Are you feeling the fitted track pants look?

OscarPRGirl + Holt Renfrew

So I’m browsing my Flipboard app this morning and see an article about Oscar de la Renta’s PR girl, Erika Bearman, making an appearance at Holt Renfrew in Toronto. I excitedly clicked the article to see when and which location only to find out that it was posted YESTERDAY! How did I not know about this?! I’m beyond upset that I missed it, I would have loved to attend and hear everything she had to say. Thankfully Holt Renfrew will be posting a video later on this week but it just won’t be the same.

Sigh, I will now be browsing my Style board on Flipboard daily.
